GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Chestnut Ridge is a good school. The teacher's aren't the best and don't really stick to their word. I feel very underprepared to go to college and just to have my future. I would like to see them change how they prepare students to be adults.

I would not recommend going here. Classes are limited and there isn't much room for different growths. A lot of the teachers grade harder than they need to.

It really feels like the teachers care about me as an individual and my future. They do well at giving opportunities in many different subjects.

The principal swears at students, and there is proof of this. I left this school and did cyber instead just because of how bad it wa...

This is an average rural school. The office staff are not community friendly and often seem irritated with asked to complete a task. They do not make one feel welcomed or valued. I have witnessed them treat students in a similar fashion as well.
