I've been here for 3 years now. I think that a lot of students here aren't academically motivated and that's one of my largest problems personally. The academics aren't bad, but unless you're in AP classes, you're kind of stuck in a very minimally difficult class. So it's either the opportunity to be really challenged or not challenged at all, which I don't like. That said, arts wise there is a huge variety of internships, paid positions and experiences available to students. The teachers are relatively nice but there's always a few that people have problems with. Unfortunately, for kids like me who want to pursue the sciences, there is a lack of opportunities. The vibe is really laid back and chill, we have a nice modern building. There's a lot of different groups of students depending on what kind of person you are so it's relatively easy to find people you fit in with.

As a current sophomore attending Art & Design, my experience is going well so far. The teachers are great and it is obvious they want the students to succeed. There are many opportunities, internships, and scholarships available. The work can be demanding and the late policy is pretty strict but they really teach you everything you need to know.

I am currently a senior at Art and Design high school, I can proudly say that it has been an amazing experience so far. The teachers at the school are always full of energy, ready to teach and help students. The students here are great too. I've made a lot of friends along the way and have enjoyed everything at the school.

It was a safe environment, the students were supportive of each other and I didn't see any issues with bullying, the teachers were nurturing and supportive. The kids loved art, but there were also good academic c...

I have no idea how GreatSchools.org comes up with their rankings. This is a fantastic school. My daughter is a Freshman here and she absolutely loves it. She was a high 90's student in Middle School and had other choices, but she chose to go to Art & Design and we are so happy about that decision. W...
