Located at 490 Hudson Street in New York City, Public School 3 is a charming reflection of its West Village neighborhood. Known as Charrette School, this esteemed institution serves pre-kindergarten through fifth grade students.
The current Public School 3 was founded in 1971 as a progressive, experimental school. The institution came to exist through a community workshop process known as a ‘charrette,’ at which parents and other community members, teachers, administrators and educational consultants arrived at a vision of child-centered learning in open multi-age classrooms, with a nonhierarchical structure, active parent involvement and an emphasis on the arts.

The old principal Lisa run the school in a incredible way. Since she left the new principal created major damage to this school. She NEGLECT students needs. Avoids what parents ask, she completely disregards what your child needs. Won’t even discuss the matter your concerned about. She’s the reason...
