Our experience was disappointing to say the least. My children regressed in the three years in PS 59. Did not receive any proper instructions in K and 1st grade, school was all play time, no work, inexperienced teachers. My child has attended PS59 the last few years. This school is zoned by The United Nations, so it is one of the most diverse schools in the city. It is a school where children learn to be world citizens and all cultures, values and contributions are celebrated. This is a wealthy area and the PTA rais...

This school has an issue with antisemitism. It has no leadership and failed to discipline a teacher for blatantly antisemitic lessons.
