Success Academy is a good school regarding their programs. They pay for good college programs and they also provide SAT prep. However, this school sets students up for failure by forcing them into AP classes just for their freshmen year.

It's hard but it's good their are a lot of opportunities that I get that I would not get at other places and it is hard and the classes are difficult but it's the best way to prepare me for college since I have been taking aps since freshman year it is a great school that get a lot of backlash only because if their strict rules if they changed their ways a little them everything would be perfect

Being a student at Success Academy High School of the Liberal Arts took such a toll on my mental health. Although the school provided amazing opportunities in terms of academics, the school's focus was solely on having the best reputation, the administration didn't care about the students and employees.

What I would like to know...why was more than half the staff at SA1 fired? Why is the long time principal and VP gone? Finally, what kind of school are you running where 8 teachers have already quit since the school year began???

Nothing positive to say. Leadership is terrible and bad at communication with students and parents . There is no consistency with return teachers, it is a revolving door even in the middle of the school year. The upper leadership (including Eva Moskowitz) uses aggressive verbal force and scare tacti...

Poorly managed affecting mainly students of color which doesn't seem promising for closing achievement gap of a staggering generation. Meet the needs public school can't meet and revamp entire staff, teachers and management.
