My experience as a parent at the school was an eye opener. My son loved the K-4 experience although not without challenges. Although they call you regarding behavior it's important to be a team player and advocate for your children. Listen to your child first and listen carefully to the concerns that the teachers and staff have. The teachers care. Children don't have the right words to communicate but we do.

This school is run like a Correctional Facility. The teacher said verbatim, “students are required to sit still and remain quiet for majority of the day”. There was no joy in my child attending the school.

Constant discrimination of children with special needs! They make the environment as uncomfortable as possible to get parents to pull the kids out of school. They constantly issue suspensions, antagonize the children and parents, and deny the kids their IEP mandated services. My family has had a ver...

This school is so bad I had to remove my son in the middle of the school year. my son was bullied and the school did nothing despite my continuous emails. They labeled him a "problem" child and had several late dismissal to talk about his behavior ( mostly his crying) and suspension, yes they suspen...

My daughters started 3rd grade and kindergarten same year. Grades have advanced so well that once my oldest left the school she scored top ten in NYS examination and got selected for Specialized schools...Teachers are awesome ...dance and basketball and music wonderful! Black history month just fant...
