I graduated from Newark High in 2025. Although there were fights, our facilities were not great, and events were often disorganized, I loved Newark with my whole heart. The teachers and coaches care about the students and communicate material effectively. The student body is diverse and has many people of differing backgrounds all working hard to better themselves. There are numerous clubs and sports, and some really good pathways. I graduated as valedictorian, an all-state athlete, and with a lead role in three theatrical productions. I'm not all that impressive, but I was able to achieve all this because of the incredible support I received from everyone there. You can be one of the best students, athletes, or artists (we have a REALLY good arts program) in the state at NHS, but it's up to you to take advantage of all they offer. I don't have enough space to say everything I want to, but there are some teachers there who are among the best in the state at teaching their subjects.

I love Newark High School. After struggling with my freshman year at Delcastle Technical High School, switching to Newark High was the best thing I could've done. Feeling alone was never an issue. I was inspired to join clubs and sports by my teachers and peers. I would recommend Newark High School to everyone.
