I love Newark High School. After struggling with my freshman year at Delcastle Technical High School, switching to Newark High was the best thing I could've done. Feeling alone was never an issue. I was inspired to join clubs and sports by my teachers and peers. I would recommend Newark High School to everyone.

At Newark High School before the chairmen allected a new principal the school was in shambles. There was little to no academic help and many children were failing. Newark has had many close calls when it comes to sports. Our best winning sport is the track and field team. and that's the only one. After they established the new principal and her team everything turned around. we as students had so much more to be proud of and we could go to our principal and talk to her about anything we wanted for the betterment school. even though it took a long time to straighten the students out I feel as though my administrators and staff are doing their best. my school is turning around for the better and I am glad I am here for every bit of it. The only change I require is for the school to be powerwashed. I would also like to see a mural from the leaving seniors every year from now on. I know my principal will take care of it all and I know after I leave the school will be in good hands.
