When it comes to doing creative art projects, there are enough materials for students to use. The computers at the computer lab can be sufficient or insufficient depending on the class size. The school's cafetorium has a good amount of space but the stage for performing is too small to accommodate a certain amount of students. Facilities for gym are quite impressive. The guidance counselor we had when I attended Quitman was a very good counselor. He helped students get into better high schools. Also, parent involvement with the school is okay because parents do participate or do their best to support when the school asks them to. Tutoring in the school is average because there are not enough tutors. The school in general needs a better building. . . .

This school Sucks on ALL LEVELS !! I would Not Recommend Nobody to send their kid here if they care about their child’s safety and education.

Quitman teachers & school administrators are all around wonderful people, you & your child will always feel like a part of the community, they support parents that want it, they're welcoming, eager, engaging and hard working indiviuals that genuinely want to leave a lasting impression on our childre...

I think this school is moving in the right direction. The positives are the warm welcoming environment, the admistration, and most teachers. The negative is the huge lack of parental support (not including myself) some of the student behavior which goes back to parental support.
