Newburyport highschool is a good school for me as the teachers are very helpful in classes that I struggle and they offer extra help hours and are very supportive of me.

My time at Newburyport High School will forever impact myself moving forward into the next stages of life. My teachers have had a profound impact on my learning and dreams to continue to study psychology at college, largely due to my AP psych teacher Ms. P. I was fortunate enough to be on the varsity field hockey team, and this year is the first time in our school's history that we made it to the state championship finals. That was definitely one of the best experiences for me, and as a team as a whole. There is not much that I would like to see change at school, but if I had to think of one thing, it would be to have less of a sense of competition and pressure in the classroom between peers.

Newburyport High School is not diverse nor very accepting of others differences, but there are great resources available to students such as a college and career center which helps students plan their futures accordingly.

We just moved to Newburyport and the transition into the high school here went very smoothly. My daughter is into all of her classes and speaks highly of her teachers.
