Newcastle Public Schools are not awful, but there are many issues. Most teachers are coaches that cannot properly teach the subjects they are assigned. Many upper class man do concurrent or votech because the school cannot educate the students at that level. The counselors were not helpful for any college information or preparation.

I like the football program and the coaches. I like the online classes that were offered. I think the admin need to listen to the students more.

My experience with high school was very good. I loved all of my four years of school. My teachers and admin were awesome and I would defiantly come back and work here and would raise my kids in this school district.

My son was harrsed and theatrened by the prinpicapal. Drugs are horrible problem at this school. They only care about money not education of the students.

We moved to this area in 2004. My children have attended all three schools in the district. I have had good and bad experiences with all of the schools. Overall though, I would recommend Newcastle High school over all the other public schools in the surrounding areas. I do agree there is far too muc...
