The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.
The Test Score Rating reflects annual state test results for this school compared with scores statewide.

I gave this a score of four stars because I have been going to school here since I was elementary and finishing school here. but also because I just wish they could serve better food that every student well enjoy eating.

My experience with Newcomb High School is an experience you will probably not mostly feel at other schools. When people come here they tell us like we are all connected in a way life one really big family. My experiences were great we have great teacher/staff, good classmates, some good parents who will take you in as their child even though they are not but that is how strong our community is at Newcomb we all stick together and do not go anywhere. There is this saying that once you're a Skyhawk, you're always a Skyahwks.
