Known as the place where Eagles “Soar to Success,” Newnan Crossing Elementary School serves over 700 kindergarten through fifth-grade students with a student-to-teacher ratio of around 13-to-1.
As part of the public Coweta County School System, Newnan Crossing’s curriculum uses engaging texts in their English Language Arts program, as well as a literacy program that focuses on foundations in phonics. Math and science curriculum includes hands-on, project-based learning.
The school also offers a variety of enrichment programs that encourage students to develop their skills and interests.
In Beta Club, students participate in community service projects such as mulching playgrounds, visiting elders within the community, and selling candy grams. Students can also have the opportunity to anchor the school’s broadcast news.
Scout Team at Newnan Crossing helps students develop leadership skills, as they provide services throughout the school including package delivery to classrooms, watering plants, assisting the school counselor and working with younger students.

Our experience at Newnan Crossing over the last 5 years with two students has been great. Our students had/have excellent, engaging teachers, who communicate effectively with parents, and love our kids. The weekly communication from administrators and individual teachers keeps us in the know.

Excellent teachers.!! Teachers at this school go above and beyond for your child. They have a very high standard support system for each child. The principal is very involved with the students. The school is always clean and well maintained.
