GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

My experience has been terrific overall. The faculty and classrooms are great , and many of the students are kind and supportive. The theater environment is especially welcoming and kind. However, there are issues with the behavior of students and some of the teaching methods of teachers. Often, the state of the bathrooms is messy and many students look to cause trouble. But overall, the school itself is good.

The best experiences I had were with the teachers and students. I loved spending time with the people that went to Nokomis; the support and connects I made there were incredible. I didn't have any bad experiences. I would like to see more students get involved and make positive connection to the teachers and fellow students.

I completed 4 years at Nokomis Regional High. I learned a lot and my biggest regret is not being more involved with extra curricular activities. As a Mother I plan to be much more involved in my children's school lives and can hopefully prevent them from having the same regrets as I do.
