GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

My experience at CCHS was a great one. I made the best of my time there and I truly connected with teachers and friends, but I did realize multiple things that could be improved upon.

I like that the school sends out weekly emails regarding up-and-coming important dates and school events. School Counselors do not follow through with their duties as needed, especially with DE classes, etc. The student and parents are not properly informed of the process and grading system.

There are a lot of organizations but they don't appeal to all types of groups.

I scored upwards of 30 and received several scholarships to a regional university. If I had a problem, all I had to do was stay after c...

I had kidney stones at the beginning of the year and the teachers were more concerned with making sure I was ok but then in my second block I was asked if I could be assigned a Saturday school to get work made up which was fine at the time but then I got the stomach flu twice and strep once due to t...

This school has declined greatly in the last 2 years. New school administrators that love to abuse their authority. No concern for student interests in more than one area. Can not handle unruly students with a reasonable punishment. Teachers with no love to teach students in a fun, yet serious manne...

Classes are a joke. There is no emphasis on education. Too much on football even though the program is "Less than spectacular". No leadership in place. Only a few teachers encourage excellence.
