Love the school spirit and school events. Traditions are always fun. Really disheartening when they change the traditions or when the take away some freedoms for "safety" reasons.

I've loved my time at NCDS. I made friends I will have forever and I feel like the teachers really care about me. Someone told me when I first started that this isn't a place that you pass "through," it's a place that will stay with you, and I really feel like that's true.

The teachers are outstanding and the students are very well prepared for college. NCDS also fosters a culture of self-advocacy that is lacking at many of the other private schools in the area.
