We appreciate the diversity including learning differences and neurodiversity. A welcoming school and friendly community. Students are challenged and matriculate to top colleges.

George School has a $176 million endowment. What happens when the Barbara Dodd Anderson $128.5 million 2007 gift (payout over 20 years) has a final 2027 payout): especially regarding operating deficits. The new head of school could openly address the increased fundraising need and likely necessary decrease in financial aid required to right the budget. Institutional planning is centered solely around the Anderson Trust. Recent alumni participation rate the Annual Fund is about 19% and current parents 59%.

Our daughter graduated and had a really wonderful experience here. The IB diploma program is extremely time consuming but worth it for a well suited learner. The students here are wonderful. Excited to learn, curious, engaged, supportive, etc. but most of the teachers do not know how to teach. There are only a few teachers here that uphold the values of the school and are as excited to teach as the students are to learn. You will not find a supportive co...
