I have had an overall positive experience at West. The majority of teachers are kind, caring, and easy to connect with. The students at my school are usually quite friendly, fun, and focused so the school culture is pretty positive. Although I do wish that some courses were made to be more engaging.

West Jessamine High School is one family of many parts. There are basic cliques, however we are a united school. Though we struggle with diversity, we embrace community. The best part of West Jessamine is our spirit and passion for bettering our school. I would love to see change amongst our school culture. We are so united that we choose to eliminate differences. I want to see a wider range of people to be accepted and embraced.

Best parts are sports and teachers. Worst is food but that's expected. I have had a wonderful time in my years at West Jessamine. The people are so friendly and helpful whenever I need help.

I have a freshmana and a junior at this school. Both are doing very well. My son works at jctc and my daughter is on the dance team. The school has good culture, staff, communication with parents, and great teachers! We came from fayette county and are very pleased.

I used to have a child going to this school. Bullying was very bad there, and it seem like the staff didn't know what to do. Since I had a job in NJ, I brought her here, where NJ has the most strict Anti-bullying laws in the nation. I was told that she was a bad seed by the principal and assistant p...

This school rides on the strength of its students. There is really bad administration, no teacher accountability, poor communication, no desire to work with parents, limited choices for students because of a five period day that they have to fill with required classes, etc. The strength of the schoo...
