GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

In my time at Nickerson High school, the School was very busy in its own way. It can be as good as you make it, and as lively as ever. The pride in sports can be found anywhere, but within the last six years or so, sports have made a huge improvement in themselves, and so has the music department. If you can involve yourself in school life that goes on, it is an enjoyable place. The teachers are amazing too if you treat them with kindness and respect. They will treat you the same way as you treat them.

nickerson high school is a good small school to go to. only about 300 students go to the school and about every teacher knows who you are. there's not a lot to change about the school. the school provide many different activity going from football and the way to chess club/drama. the teachers put their full interest in the students. a teacher will always be there to help when asked for it. if your even have home problems there are teachers in the school who will be there that you can talk to with heart to heart.

It is a very small high school, there is approximately 80 students in my class. The teachers are very close to their students and want the best for them. Everyone in the school, students, staff members and teachers are very nice and always excepting of each other.
