Niwot High school is one of the better high schools in the St. Vain Valley School District. Many teachers here care about their students greatly and there are so many extracurricular opportunities that it's easy to find a place to fit in here. Its also generally a queer friendly school.

I started at Niwot High School in 2016 and graduated in 2020. I was in cheerleading all 4 years and was the head captain junior and senior year. I also did track my sophmore year and soccer my freshman year. I enjoyed my time there especially through sports. any problems I had whether at school or at home I had trusted faculty that I could count on and who really helped me navigate through life. The only change I would hope for is more diversity and openness.

Was an assistant coach here and saw ignoree athletes, disrespectful parents, and arrogant faculty. Only star athletes were focused on by the head coach. I was undermined by faculty and it hamstringed my ability to coach. To top it off, they ask for me to come back ane would only pay $3000 for 4 mont...

As a pre-IB/honors student, I was academically challenged and was well prepared for college and AP/IB level courses. The elective courses were diverse with the inclusion of many music classes, and the CETC and IC classes the district offers. Many club offerings as well, and general activities. Amazi...

Recent grad. Great school if you only take honors/IB/AP classes - otherwise, just a below average public school. Every grade has ~10-20 outstanding students who place excellently in college applications. Most honors students go to CU or CSU and are well above average there. Non-honors/traditional st...
