Renaissance Montessori School is a nonprofit Montessori school located on Fitzwater Drive in Nokesville.
The school was founded in 2002 and is open to children age 16 months to 12 years. Rooted in the Catholic faith, Renaissance Montessori is guided by the teachings and principles of educator Maria Montessori, which emphasizes training of the senses and guidance to encourage self-education. The school strives to meet the standards of the Association Montessori International.
Renaissance Montessori is made up of three different programs: the toddler program, the primary program and the elementary program. Programs have varying tuition rates. Financial aid is available.
Renaissance Montessori School’s stated mission is to “prepare the children for all aspects of life: spiritual, intellectual, social, physical, and emotional, by engaging them in the daily rituals of living within a community” and “to stimulate the child’s natural curiosity and to prepare him/her to become an independent, self-reliant, and compassionate human being.”

We couldn't be happier with our choice to send our kids to RMS. The staff is not only knowledgeable, but they genuinely care about the students and the work they are doing. My children love going to school and I am constantly impressed with their growth in all areas!

I am so happy with this school! My son started when he was four years old and now, four years later he is still excited to go to school everyday! The teachers and staff are the best part. They are full of joy and love their work with the children.
