The neighborhood around the school led to safety hazards when I went. We went on actual lockdowns frequently. There were shootings across the street from the school in the park. There was a hole in the fence that surrounded the field. The food didn't taste very good either. The teachers were the best that I have had though and I have been to seven different schools over my eleven years of school and Kindergarten. The academics challenged me. I took high school classes in eighth grade and they were for honors credits. The school culture was interesting and there were activities to go to at least three times a week either before or after school.

The staff members seem to genuinely care about students and NAMS Art department is the best! NAMS is a school of excellence on their report card so parents, students, and staff must be doing something right! Keep up the good work! I Love this school!

I have improved greatly musically because of the band and chorus program. I would also say that the Honors classes are very good, challenging, etc. The normal classes however, are very sad compared. 8th grade math is so incredibly different (easier) from 8th grade Algebra to the point that it isn't...

NAMS is an excellent school with a variety of programs and opportunities for students during school as well as after school. The Fine Arts and Athletic departments at NAMS are some of the finest in all of Aiken County.

Unorganized staff, no one seems to know what to do. Office staff on the occasions that I was there were discussing Facebook and personal business.
