Deer Park Middle is a public school in the Charleston County school district that serves students in grades six through eight. Located in the Deer Park neighborhood in North Charleston, this school provides a safe and challenging learning environment where diversity is celebrated and students develop a lifelong passion for learning.
Competition is not just reserved for athletics at Deer Park Middle. In addition to basketball, volleyball, soccer and track, the school has a number of academic teams, including robotics and Legos. The robotics team qualified for the South Carolina First Robotics Competition in 2021, and the Lego team competed in the First Lego League that same year.
Deer Park Middle is committed to preparing students for future careers by placing an emphasis on STEM education and hands-on learning in each classroom. Because of this focus on science, technology, engineering and math, graduates of this school are prepared with the necessary tools to compete in today’s technology-driven society.

I get bullied every day since 6th grade im going into 8th this year it suck and some kid brought a gun and another brought a KNIFE to school i feel SOOOOOO unsafe in this school. At least i have an amazing friend group that is the funniest ever.

the school is not kind security sucks and they do meetings for no more bullying even though it is a waste of time. My child got hurt one time and the school did nothing about it.
