North Charleston Creative Arts Elementary School proudly serves over 500 students on the northwest side of the Park Circle community. This public school offers prekindergarten through fifth-grade classes.
Since this is a public school in the Charleston County School District, students in the Park Circle neighborhood receive free transportation and utilize many publicly funded opportunities. The school offers extracurricular classes like art, music and performing arts to provide students with unique exploratory courses. The mission of North Charleston Creative Arts Elementary is to provide students with an arts-integrated education, giving them a learning opportunity that will prepare them for the future.
The community holds the school in high regard for the individualized educational approaches not found in other schools in this area. This elementary school is equipped with a media center, cafeteria, multipurpose room, computer labs and project labs. Students have classes in the art wing which houses rooms for art, drama, music, chorus and a dance studio. Artworks made by students are exhibited in the school’s art gallery.
