I was a Sophomore this following year and I wanted to see how people rated this school. This is coming from a person who isn't popular and rural. And since this is a school in a rural area, of course its going to have good views. With my learning experience it was mainly my fault for not doing good. But that does not make my opinion about the school less relevant. In short, I did not like a lot of people and teachers in the school this year and last year. The only teachers I connected with was the Band and Art/Spanish Teacher. The rest of the teachers a lot of people like, but I feel like its only because they play favorites and like drama. The diversity at this school is not that high, its a white school with over half of the students who are racist and/or homophobic. I have no opinion on the academics because I'm just a student who wants to get threw Highschool. I don't plan on doing anything big. All that i can say is that some things weren't for me, like language arts.

What I like about North Douglas High School is the friendly teaching staff and excellent coaching staff for the girls athletic teams. Both encourage student athletes to be their best in the classroom and on the court or field.

My experience has been great. The small community really helps with the student to teacher ratio.
