Overall Thurston has gave me the opportunity to be apart of a lot of things that has help me create friendships and a sense of community. Their classes aren't always easy to get through but they help me build my work ethic overall. all and all if your gonna go here you have to be ready to put in the hard work & get stressed but overall power through and get a good grade. you will make friends and if you don't you will at-least have a sense of community with any extracurricular activity etc that you join I believe I have I've been in drama club , poetry club and so much more and have had a lot of fun doing it I also have started taking ap classes which are really preparing me for college so Thurston isn't always easy or always ideal but it has potential

The best part about North Thurston High School is that the school encourages students to succeed. They strongly suggest clubs and give us time during school to go to clubs. They push us to do sports and competitions in order for us to succeed. Teachers also seem to care a lot about the student's well being. The worst part about my experience at North Thurston High School is probably the portion of hateful people. Many students are nice but about half of the students tend to make fun of those who are deemed as different. I would like to see a little more encouragement to being kind.

I only had 1 class at North Thurston, so I can't say much about the school. But for those of you who play a string instrument, the orchestra teacher is excellent.
