GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

ARHS is what you would expect from a public high school. Very few people are excited to be at school, but most teachers put in an effort and although favoritism is an issue, its bearable.

Overall, a good school that sends kids to good colleges. However, would like administrators to listen to students more on certain subjects.

Honestly a pretty good high school experience, most teachers care about the students overall happiness, there are plenty of clubs to participate in and sports are a good environment to be in. I'm excited to see how the new facilities being built turn out since before the stadium field and bleachers were not the best quality.

The teachers and staff are very helpful. The extra activities like clubs, sports, are great and the students are very respectful.

As an alum who was on the special education system, my liasions were amazing at giving me the IEP...

I graduated from Algonquin back in the 1970's and while I did not get a college degree, the education (and the teachers) here allowed me to excel (especially in Silicon Valley). I fondly remember them teaching us critical thinking skills not simply memorization. It looks like Algonquin is still an o...
