The school is good academically, though some teachers are better than others. They have lots of clubs and sports and other activiites, which is good. The food is not great, and there are not very healthy options. The gym and hallways can get stuffy and sweaty and gross. I would like to see more air ventilation and circulation, and healthier food options on the menu.

I think there are good opportunities available to students but they aren't transparent about them. Some teachers are very good, but on the other side some are not good at all and seem like they don't know how to teach or don't enjoy being around kids. I think there have been too many staff incidents in my 4 years here and there should be more background checks or something to deal with this issue.

ARHS is a good school. The classes that are specific to my major are my most enjoyable classes. My teachers provide support and my favorite teachers engage students and inspire them to want to learn more. Overall I have had a good high school experience at ARHS.

I absolutely loved my experience at Algonquin! I had the best time being able to freely explore who I want to be in the future and what college to go to (since it's implied that you will go to college). As an alum who was on the special education system, my liasions were amazing at giving me the IEP...

I graduated from Algonquin back in the 1970's and while I did not get a college degree, the education (and the teachers) here allowed me to excel (especially in Silicon Valley). I fondly remember them teaching us critical thinking skills not simply memorization. It looks like Algonquin is still an o...
