The atmosphere here is very carefree. This is a place for you to put your creativity into. Many people here are caring and kind. May not be the typical perfect school but it has its perks in helping you succeed.

Northeast is a school that wants to do better in the way they present themselves. The last couple of years have been tough but it's my first year here so so far so good. I will say that Northeast has it's own way to teach the students then other schools in the Kansas City School District.

My experience at Northeast had its up and downs. I believe that this school is very underrated in the fact that people are not given the same opportunities or educated the same as any other school because that is not true. I attended Lincoln College Prep before I got to Northeast and the curriculum was typically the same the environment was just different. Honestly that is the only thing that I would change about this school. The best part about being a viking is the impact that my Algebra 2 teacher had he on me. He instilled in me never to give up on anything, and that as long as I set my mind to it, I could be anything I wanted to be.
