GreatSchools Rating

GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I liked the community and the amount of support that comes from the school and the people involved in the school. I would however like to see people be more tolerant of lgbt people and for them to not constantly bully and make fun of people like me for being lgbt. The students and staff could both work on being more inclusive and supportive of lgbt people because we are just as human as other people.

I love the teachers. They are incredible people that want nothing more than to help their students learn and prepare them for their next steps in life.

While highschool basically sucks no matter where you go, this school wasn't that bad. Because of the population was very small everyone got to know each other really well and by my senior year there was very little drama. The teachers were pretty great (even the crazy ones) and the sports, while not league champs every year, were fun and definitely worth the effort. But you might want to stay away from the cafeteria food...

This school is amazing. I cannot believe during the recession that they have kept in place all of their programs that help to enrich each student. As an entering 7th grader they take sewing, woodworking, physical education, drama etc. So impressive! They are very supportive of the students.

I wish I was able to rate negative stars. I was disgusted when I heard a teacher tell a parent of a middle school child that she simply could not be expected to keep tabs on all of her students work! Also, in walking the halls, I saw a list of "obligations" that stated every student who owed the sch...

We had considered private school, but with the quality teachers, caring environment and programs available, we selected to keep our child in Pioneer.
