Overall the teachers are extremely caring and are always ready/ prepared to help the students. I personally feel as though I am able to talk to any teacher in the building about my problems and such. Our guidance counselor is also extremely kind and willing to help every student. Although, the school decided to omit our sophomore year from our GPA's due to certain circumstances, which is very frustrating.

Our guidance counselor Ms. Aftuck is amazing. She is extremely friendly and helps every one. The principal is very involved in different activities that go on at the school. Most students respect themselves enough not to disobey the dress code. Bullying was a big problem with one of the classes, but it has subsided alot.

I was in 7 clubs at the school plus I played soccer and golf and was on the rifle team and kept a 3.7 GPA. Being involved in the school and keeping up your GPA is really easy. A lot of students are in after school groups. Students arent participating in as many sports now though. Students Helping Improve Northfields Enthusiasm was the biggest group at the school, but this year there is no one to run it anymore. Student Council is the most popular now.

It's been a few years since I attended, but with the University in town, this little school has and does offer some unique advantages.

They all enjoyed their time here with the extra opportunities of teams that have won state championships, music festivals, stage band, and the annual musical. They were all challenged academically and s...

The teachers are excellent...providing a positive and hands on learning experience. The class size is small, which allows for the teachers to know the kids st...

Great school! Middle-school teachers are genuinely interested in helping students learn to love exploration. Teachers and administrators have both shown me a commitment to developing good communication with parents.
