The best part was that the teachers were always willing to help when a student needed help or they saw them struggling. The worst part was having to do the last two years online and some teachers would not preperly teach during that time.

I have been given many opportunities at West Leyden and I am very grateful for the doors that they have opened up for me. The teachers I have had over the years have been very supportive both academically and my life outside of school. They make sure everyone feels a part of a family and will always be supported in the decisions they make or want to make.

I’ve lived around the neighborhood of this school for as long as I can remember. Never in my life have I experienced such ignorance just to get a average education. Administration is disengaged from the student population. Staff does not have the skills or tools to educate children with disabilities or social emotional needs. Administration does not have the students best interest in mind.

Good school however many teachers lack care for their students. My child has a couple she loves and have guided her amazingly through her 4 yr high school journey. The rest however sadly could care less about the kids or the lessons and studies they teach. That is a big downside to this school.

This is a school that does not work towards the betterment of students. Most teachers are not there because they care about helping students, they're there for the large salary.
