Overall, Roton was okay. I think the academics were not that great. I attended a different school for 8th grade and the work was immensely harder. I think roton does a bad job of preparing students when it comes to work. Not much homework, the structure set is not the best. But, I think the teachers try their best and want their students to succeed.

Where do I even begin, I can't tell if this was solely on the students who created this negative experience for me during my time at Roton. The building is old, I know they painted the walls and stuff to make it look better, but there were times when our rooms were deemed unsafe due to extreme heat...

Not what is expected. The reviews and ratings are completely off. there is no connection between what school ratings are there and what kids expereince. Cannot understand if the kids are segregated on economic levels in the 2 houses. It's not very clear. Child says all the hispanic kids are in one h...

Caring and attentive staff. Many different opportunities for all types of students including languages (Mandarin, Japanese), music, art, academically talented. Large emphasis on social emotional learning. Overall a very positive experience for my kids!

Would not recommend this school unless it is convenient for your child.(1) The teachers do not respect the students NOT ONE BIT! Bullying is a very serious thing in this school because It either gets passed unnoticed or ignored.(2) Most teachers Make students do more homework than there is classwork...
