GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I would recommend Norway. Small community, where teachers care and get to know you. You get more of a one on one experience with the small class sizes. Staff is very helpful.

Norway High school is a great school. The staff and the students are great. The school loves their sports team and makes sure that every student that wants to go to college is ready and able too. The staff makes sure that kid is doing well in their classes and if they are having problems outside of class they try to help. The community does everything they can to support the school, from being on the school board to just coming out to support the sports teams.

For me going to Norway High School has been a great experience. The teachers are always willing to help you, and they care about how you are doing inside and outside of school. The small size of this school is nice because teachers can get to know their students better, and help them achieve more. I would choose this school again if I could do it all over, because of strong relationships I have built with my teachers and students here. They have helped me achieve many things throughout my high school years.

Like any school, you get out of it what you put into it. Students here have gone to the best colleges in the state and been prepared when they went there. If a student takes advantage of dual enrollment, early college, or vocational programs, they'll get a valuable education.
