A terrible school and laughably bad considering that most of the students and families that go there are rich. The school lacks everything a place of education needs: good quality teachers and leadership. Teachers there are tenure teachers and cannot be fired unless they commit crimes or actual discrimination. Because of this tenure teachers at Norwood Public School do an awful job teaching. The education is a joke. Teachers who are incompetent at their jobs and don't care. They focus on everything else like painting the hallways rather than hiring good quality teachers who are good at their jobs.

Norwood Public School is a great school. There are great teachers who care for the growth of the students and it is a good environment overall.

Wonderful supportive school gardes K-8. Love the fact that they split the school and created 2 principles. I noticed a tremendous difference with the academic support and well-being of the students. The teachers are very communicative - they go above and beyond to help our kids succeed.

This reviewer agrees that the school is "going downhill" but not for the same reason. It is absolutely false that the administrators are'yes men to teachers,' The downturn started in September 2011 when a new superintendent'/principal came to the district and destroyed teacher morale.
