Nutley High School is an exceptional high school. It helps me achieve my goals in order to pursue my career in Business Management. With having IEP to help with my studies and having MS was a difficult challenge, but Nutley High School help me over come my fears and instilled in me the confidence I never had before. Making friends was a little difficult because I am extremely quiet. I also in time learned to overcome that too with the help of the Guidance Counselor. The only thing I can say is the school lunches could be better.

Administration could be stricter, overall academics aren't great unless you are an ambitious student who pushes themselves for more. Diversity isn't bad, but the town does not have a great history of dealing with racism related issues.

Nutley High School has an active administration and supportive staff and teachers that promote student growth and education. Many different classes, including electives, honors, APs, etc, are available and have great teachers.

As a lifelong resident of Nutley and a graduate of Nutley High School, I am incredibly disappointed with the experience my children have had with this school. This is no longer the wonderful Nutley school system we enjoyed for so long. If my two youngest were not almost done, I would pull them out t...

Some teachers are great. English/Science depts have been a positive experience. Some math teachers are ok but when Advanced Math is taught by inexperience teachers, they can not communicate the class work and therefore students who had excellent math track records are turned off to the subject.
