The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Oak ridge high school not only has amazing academics, but they also have a great system of voicing the concerns of the general population of ORHS to the administration. The administration and the Student Council connect quarterly to talk over concerns presented by representatives of each class to executives who can relay those issues to administrators.

Oak Ridge High School is prestigious for a public high school, but it has good reason. Our core classes are all funded well and our sports are funded extremely well, but our arts/theater programs are also funded well.

It was a good school to go to. It had all you needed from good teachers to good food for the kids. I recommend going here.

ORHS is a really terrible place to attend if your are not some genius in the math/science fields, athlete, or moved from another school system in the area. Although it is one of the better school systems around (the only reason I give it 2 stars)the work load and how picky they grade is ridiculous....
