Overall, the schools are fine, but I’m surprised by how much emphasis is placed on i-Ready. It doesn’t truly measure a student’s abilities or subject knowledge. My children have been through all three schools in the District. Take the Great Schools rating with a grain of salt in District 48. We are such a small district that literally 1-2 children performing under state average will tank our "Great Schools Rating" under their very standardized rating formul...
