My overall experience at Yosemite high school is actually really great. I love that the teachers and staff are very involved and interactive with the students. Personally I have never had a negative experience with any of my teacher or the staff at my school. They are all so kind and they love me because I am always kind to them. Even one of my teachers said her favorite thing that I have ever said was that I am not embarrassed to be kind to others.

I never want to live in the country..." is what I told myself. It's so true at first until I really got to experience going to Yosemite High School. I've moved from so many schools and going to Yosemite High School has given me a new perspective on looking at the world and allowed me to accept the fact that my high school experience is what I make it. So far there's been a lot of laughing, crying, feelings of excitement and the sense of knowing that you only live one life, why not have fun living it.

The people of the community and school are close knit. Though there are the traditional cliques, over all it works well together. People stand for what they believe in and are willing to fight for their rights. I LOVE the Music Department. Choir was one of my favorite classes. Both Directors I've had for it were very knowledgeable, full of laughs and just fun to be around.

I have eight children who graduated from this high school before the year 2005. There was a great academic program to prepare all of them for college. They were involved in fall and spring sports. Following that, I have two grandchildren who attended the same elementary schools before entering this...

There is a new superintendent that does not seem to appreciate or support our community and the pride it is built on. I don't have children at the high school yet, but will in a few years. I have been very excited to have them become Badgers, but if something doesn't change with this new "leadership...

Excellent. Much better academically than the nearby school that is stealing students from YHS. I went there for a year and spent the year surfing the internet and watch Youtube. And I made straight A's. YHS has great teachers, great arts and a fun environment. I am ready to go to a UC college next y...

I'm proud that my child goes to YHS. It's an academically strong school and the new principal has high expectations for growth and excellence. The teachers are equipped and challenging the students. As a parent its very important to have my child be ready for college, and that means there will be ho...
