I had a great experience at alternatives in action. I have been on the student board since my freshman year. I love how involved the youth are there and how everyone's voice is heard. I made so many bonds and friendships that may be long-lasting. That school has strong beliefs, and all the staff really care about our education and our future.

This school will push you.Even if you give up on certain classes. They will do there best to put you on your feet again. They point you in the direction of success.Teachers build relationships with students becoming like aunts and uncles. There is no favorite students but favorite teachers and staff. The school is a family and I'm going to miss it once I graduate.

These students often require extra support and individual attention from teaching staff in order to succeed. BASE is the only school that my child...

The things I love about BASE are that we all get along and our teachers are so supportive. They take the time to help us out whenever we have a hard time in our classes or even outside of school. Here we see each other more like family. Our community is amazing. I like that the class sizes are prett...
