My overall experience while being at Skyline High school for 3 years has changed my perspective of how I thought skyline would be. The beginning of my senior year it was going good until there was a school shooting on the fire road in the back of our school staff and students felt unsafe but the next day we still had to come to school the oakland unified school district would have lost out on money if they cancelled school for that day. Us students felt as our safety wasn't concerned to our school and the oakland unified school district because it traumatized a huge amount of students . Skyline has always been a diverse school and all the students had always came together to make pep rally's fun and other school activities and events better than what it is now. There can be changes that can be made by asking students how they feel about skyline and get advice on what can happen to make the school more safe and comfortable.

I would like to see the students more united.. what I mean is more love and kindness. Less violence. It would be nice to see some more school culture too.

The area is amazing. Forest and clear skies all around. The teachers are talented, and we've seen a fair share of their struggles with the district and administration. It's a shame that the student culture is quite against much focus on studies. Fights every other day, and there's always a rotation in the bathrooms.

My 10th grader goes to Skyline and my 8th grader will be coming to Skyline next year. We adore the teachers, principal, and parent community. Everyone is very dedicated to Skyline and the kids' success. I highly suggest coming to Skyline and experiencing our gem of a public school. Go Titans!

As a parent of an exceptional disabled student, I am pleased with this school. What stands out the most is that administrators, teachers and staff bring their own children to Skyline High School. My child has advanced through her college education while still in high school by accumulating almost 30...

Skyline High School has been amazing for my daughter! The teachers are kind and engaging, the administration is warm and helpful, and the school cultivates a strong sense of community. The academic rigor is impressive-I was not expecting it to be as challenging. My daughter is taking a dual enrollme...
