School wants involved parents but teachers lack communication skills. My son was having issues and no one told me. Counselor is afraid of dealing with parents. Most of the staff are friendly. The school is safe and we appreciate the SO that they added this year.

I love this school. Wouldn’t trade it for anything. This is the second elementary schools in the county and I wouldn’t change it. They are full of awesome staff from the office to the classrooms to outside the classrooms. Thank you for all you do Shady Hill Staff

Excellent school. My daughter loves it there, and our experiences have been overwhelmingly positive.

My boys love it here. Teachers are nice, caring and friendly. Principal Mr. Bennett is the best he knows the kids by name. He truly makes the effort to know his students and parents. The staff works as a team they are very organized.

My son has attended this school for 4 years now it is a fabulous school. He needed extra help with his reading due to an eye condition and the teachers worked with him to get him up to speed over a period of two years. I would recommend this school to any parents looking for placement. The PTA here...
