I have had an overall positive experience at Oconee County High School. The teachers are kind and helped me when I needed it. I appreciated all the experiences the school provides, such as many AP courses, dual enrollment options, and diverse club opportunities. While the workload was often heavy and difficult, I am glad I was motivated to learn at a higher level and therefore achieved more than I thought I could.

The best parts of my experience would probably be that Oconee is very academically focused. 8 classes per year, 8 credits per year, and lots of resources at the school. The only two downsides for me are the lack of diversity (not the school's fault, just county demographics), and in my experience teachers are very hit or miss. There are some amazing teachers here that are incredibly invested in students lives and education, and others are somewhat meh. Overall, 7.5/10 school for me.

Oconee County High School is a great place when it comes to learning and specializing in a career-focused education. The teachers are great and the overall atmosphere of the school is amazing. However, the food at the cafeteria is horrible and honestly disgusting. The admin to like to make up dumb rules that don't make sense like 'No Tech-Tuesday' like bffr.
