I felt as thought the Lyme-Old Lyme school system set me up well for college-- the teachers and other staff were great and the AP/Honors classes were rigorous. The school culture was okay and the diversity is nonexistent. I witnessed and encountered many times where the administration failed to fully address issues of bullying/harassment/etc that went on throughout my time there.

Lyme Old Lyme is definitely an interesting place. The school is pretty good because there are lots of different courses that are available for being such a small school. There are many different clubs also the choose from which is surprising due to the student body being a little over 400. In the end, I would say that this school is a great place.

I entered the in the high school, Lyme Old-Lyme my fresman year, but in the middle of the seconf semester. So, I never truly received all the information of how the school worked, about clubs. spots. the best classes to take, and sites to help student in the future wiht colleges. Like, Niche and College Board. Eventually, slowly, with the help of my friends and making many questions to counselers and teaches, I received the information I needed to have a great High School experience. Now my experience in this school is complete, with the right classes, clubs and sports.

Shocked by some of these poor reviews. I have never heard anything but glowing reviews of this school system. As a former student, this high school prepared me well for college/grad school and beyond. For such a small high school, there are a surprising number of extra curricular activities to get i...

I went to this school back in 2001-2005, so maybe things have changed since then, but when I was a student, the teachers were excellent. There were tons of clubs and extra curriculars with which to be involved. The music and theatre programs were excellent. I was involved in the school tv news progr...

Many college level classes, great special education, over 40 clubs, many sport scholarship programs, the teachers are extremely well liked and qualified, etc. 10/10 100% recommend!

I feel the equity gap is too large. My son is the only Hispanic/black child at the school, and we feel as if he’s been pushed along. Smart kids succeed and the special need kids are slid along to graduate. I truly hope this is not the case and they truly care about the under privileged getting the s...
