A decent high school, but suffers from overcrowding issues. Teachers are 40% great, 60% awful, there's really no in between. Plenty of places to eat and shop for snacks around the school, and classes are generally kept somewhat interesting. Traffic in the immediate area around the school is bad most of the day.

My overall experience with omaha south high is amazing i got into their dance team as a freshman an made tryouts an got on varsity an still is on varsity till this day an im now in a avenue scholars class with helps me take classes for my dream job i want an i take metro classes next semester. Over all south is a good school to be at

My experience at Omaha South Magnet High School was amazing in my opinion. There was so many classes that you could take like theater, band, orchestra, piano, choir, ambassadors. Those are just some of the classes that are available if you are interested in any of those options.
