The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.
The Test Score Rating reflects annual state test results for this school compared with scores statewide.

As a senior of Cabell Midland High School, I think this school would fit anyone and everyone. It is very accommodating, and has plenty of clubs and extracurriculars for all. The academics provides a variety of subjects to almost any field a child could want to go into, including healthcare, arts, engineering, etc. I am beyond happy and thankful to have spent my 4 years attending this school.

Cabell Midland is a good school, a very few of the staff and faculty are rude but every other teacher or administrator are some of the nicest people I've ever met who are good teachers who can make their class fun and interesting.

It was at Cabell Midland where I was first introduced to engineering. This school would provide me with classes and extracurricular activities that put me on a path to pursuing my degree in engineering in college.
My children have had great teachers that have pushed them academically to achieve their goals. There are many extracurricular activities and clubs available for students to join. The school counselor has been very helpful with Honors/AP classes.
My experience at Cabell Midland started out rocky, but as the years passed, I learned to love the school, and the students/educators in it. I had/have the sweetest counsellor who will check up on me, even during the whole pandemic. I miss Cabell Midland, and I should be graduating from the schools t...
