GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Oneida High School has played the key role in preparing me for what comes next after I walk across the graduation stage. The teachers and staff have always been there whenever I needed help. Though we live in a rural area, the school district has done all they can to provide us with the best quality education and resources. I feel right at home when I play with the band for Friday night football. I have been able to accomplish great things through the band program at Oneida High School.

I loved my time at Oneida High School as a student and athlete. My teachers & coaches cared about me and I was prepared for college. There is a special feeling of family here and being a part of something special. It is a small rural school with great facilities and resources for students.

I love how involved everyone is. There are no cliche groups. I love my education that I have received and I've had multiple college opportunities with Roane state community college for dual enrollment class my junior and senior year of high school

I graduated from Oneida High School in 1998 and it was integral in me graduating from one of the hardest colleges in Tennessee with a BA in Education. My Junior English class was harder than most of the classes I took in college and I was very well prepared for anything that college thru at me. Most...

I am going to be a senior next year at OHS, and I have been there for the 1st 3 years. I can say that a very small percentage of the staff knows what they're doing. As someone previously stated, the biology teacher, the teacher for core math (algebra, geometry, etc.), and a few other misc. teachers...
