Oneida is a great school . Education is their number one priority. They really care about their students and how we care mentally , physically , and emotionally at home and at school .

Teachers are approachable and have a tendency to go above and beyond for students. They even offer extra credit for those who are struggling. They offer time for time programs that help the students to make up work when they miss school. They offer a wide variety of ways for students who fall behind to catch up. Teachers usually help students during their planning period or after school. They use equality when grading papers so that students get the grade that they earned despite their social status or relationship to other teachers.

The health polices lack but the safety polices at OHS almost makes it feel like an over bearing mother runs it. Anything you say that sounds remotely threatening, taken out of context, could get you in a lot of trouble. It has good intentions about it but they need to alter it a tad. There are officers on campus to enforce safety.

I am going to be a senior next year at OHS, and I have been there for the 1st 3 years. I can say that a very small percentage of the staff knows what they're doing. As someone previously stated, the biology teacher, the teacher for core math (algebra, geometry, etc.), and a few other misc. teachers...
