GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I had an amazing time at MOC-Floyd Valley High School. While there is not much diversity in this Dutch town, the culture is great. We participate in Tulip Festival every year, and because there are around 100 students per grade, class sizes are small and everyone knows each other. I enjoyed it here and would have my kids attend in the future.

MOC is a great school district that I am proud to be part of. I have attended MOC since kindergarten and have enjoyed every year of it.

Teachers are very caring and appreciative. They are empathetic while realizing there are other more important things than school in our lives. While being appreciative they do not let our learning fall behind. We are held accountable, making us self reliant.
