There is still a stigma against the Orange school system but it's just feelings not based on evidence or with facts. From the teachers, staff, administrators to the Superintendent - Heywood has exceeded my expectations! I highly recommend it to all who ask.

This school is a disgrace! They don’t take bullying serious at all! My child started in January after being transferred from moving and almost immediately was bullied by a popular student who ended up turning nearly the entire 7th grade against my daughter. The principal NEVER responded to my emails...
