GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

My experience at Orangeville High School has been okay. There were many instances where I questioned why the school did things and when I didn't enjoy the way teachers taught classes. Some teachers showed their biases as well. The vast majority of teachers were amazing, most of them were kind and helped you through problems if you had them. I don't think Orangeville gives proper college preperation courses.

The class sizes are small which gives more 1:1 time between the teachers and students. The school facilities could use some upgrades, which they are currently working on. They could offer more classes. Some classes that could be offered are more advanced placement and those that involve the arts.

I bring my own lunch every day. We have either hot lunch or pizza. We follow the state regulations for eating healthy but the lunches are usually cold, discolored or watered down.
