The community at Miramonte is very inclusive. Teachers and faculty support students best they can. Although academically rigorous, the school also focuses on mental well being.

My time at Miramonte so far has been great, the school offers many opportunities to greater boost our abilities on the path to post grad pathways. As a member of a sports team I have found myself welcomed into a community that I would not give up for the world. As I enter my senior year I expect that I will make memories at this school that I will cherish for the rest of my life and that I will learn many new things both about myself and the world that I will continue to use as I go into college and later on in life.

Great teachers. Shout out to Poling, Frank, Smith, Boyko, and McAdam, to mention a few. Love the wellness center. Really amazing if you're passionate about learning. This school however has some of the most narrow-minded students on campus. They can be ultra competitive and petty. If you're not a popular straight A varsity athlete on campus, you get treated like you're invisible. I have never felt as lonely as I have during my time here. Growing up in Lamorinda was amazing because of the school system but the social life, I don't think I'll ever be the same because of the "Lamorinda bubble".

My children attended Miramonte High School for six years, one daughter graduated in 2020 during the beginning of the pandemic, and my other children completed up to their senior year on line. Miramonte has one of the best curriculums and plans that allow the students to earn a diploma equivalent to...

Great school, great teachers, and a wonderful principal. Yes everyone has gone to school together since they were younger and may not be so welcoming, specially the girls. But that does not make the school a bad school. You will find that type of behavior at almost any high school.

The academics and almost all of the teachers are above fantastic. They make me want to go back to high school myself they are so amazing. The way my children have expanded intellectually at this school is astounding. The overall experience is, unfortunately, reduced by the absolutely atrocious way w...

I went here. Read my other review about OIS. I had the same problem here as well. I was hoping with two years of Orinda living under my belt that I can fit in. Nope. I was wrong. Some of the girls went to the same preschool, kindergarten, same elementary (wagner, glorietta, del rey), same soccer pra...
